3086499 - Job remains in "Pending" status when scheduling Analysis Workbook

When scheduling Analysis Workbook in BI Launchpad or CMC, the job remains in "Pending" status.

SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office

1. Go to BI Launchpad or CMC;
2. Click to schedule the Analysis Workbook;
3. Confirm the job remains in "Pending" status and the report is not scheduled.

The AO BIP ADD-ON is not installed in the server.

or

The parameter "Precalculation Server Path" is not correctly pointing to BiPrecalculation.exe file in "Analysis Office Scheduling Service" in CMC.

or

The server used when scheduling the report is not the one where AO BIP ADD-ON is installed.

1. Make sure that the AO BIP ADD-ON is installed in the server. Refer to SAP note 2134836.
   
   
2. Make sure that "Precalculation Server Path" is correctly pointing to BiPrecalculation.exe file in "Analysis Office Scheduling Service" in CMC.
   
   1)      Go to BOE/CMC (Central Management Console);
   2)      Go to Servers/Core Services/[SIA_NAME].AdaptiveJobServer;
   3)      Open "Properties" and check the "Analysis Office Scheduling Service";
   4)      Confirm that the parameter "Precalculation Server Path" is correctly pointing to BiPrecalculation.exe file installed on server.
   
   
   
   
3. Make sure that when scheduling the Analysis Workbook, the correct server is selected under "Scheduling Server Group". It is necessary to select the server where AO BIP ADD-ON is installed:
