2710837 - 1811 - How to customize the filters for the new admin UI for Business Rules

Symptom

You want to understand how you can customize the search filter for the new admin UI for Business Rules thus you can customize your searches.

Resolution

In the new admin you have several options of adding new fields or removing fields or even defining default values to the filters.

You can also define conditions to certain fields which will help you to find the business rules you need. Please refer to the below scenarios where these actions are explained.

Adding new fields to the search:

  1. In the new admin UI, click in "Adapt Filters":

  1. It will open the filter page, there you can click in "More Filters" at the bottom of the page:

  1. It will open a new pop-up page where you can see the available filters and to add them you just need to check the checkbox for the filter you want to add:

Removing a filter:

  1. In the Admin UI rule you can click in "Adapt Filters" and then all the current filters are shown with a checkbox marked:

  1. To remove the filter you just need to uncheck the checkbox:

Adding default values:

  1. To add default values you need to click in "Adapt Filters" and then the filters will be loaded. There you can add the default values:

Using conditions:

For the search box fields (E.G Base Object) you have the option to define conditions our even to select multiple objects, for this click in the search box icon:

  • In the UI that will be loaded you can select multiple base objects in the "selected from list" tab:

  • If you click in the tab "DEFINE CONDITIONS" then you'll be able to select conditions such as show all the base objects with exception of position:
