2710700 - 1811 - New Admin Business Rules UI

In 1811 Release SAP has enhanced the admin UI for business rules as per the image below:

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) - All Versions - 1811

The admin UI is a new search feature which will provide you more filter options to find your business rules easier. Please refer to the Business Rules Implementation Handbook for general information

Below you can see what this new UI supports:

1. Possibility to use multiple filters such as base object, scenario, rule type, and so on. please refer to the KBA 2710837 to learn how to use the filters in this UI.

2. Possibility to customize how the results are shown for example which column you want to see, if you want to apply some ordering or grouping. Please refer to the KBA 2710867 to learn how to customize your view.

3. To create business rules you'll now click in the "+" icon which will redirects you to the legacy admin page where you are going to proceed as usual to create the business rules.

Limitations:

There are currently some known limitations such as:

1. Currently every time you access this UI you'll need to define the filter you want to use and customize your view because it is yet not possible to save a variant of your search. This is already in the roadmap to enhance this UI but with no target release commitment;
2. Currently there is no export option to pull a report of all your business rules and this is also in the roadmap for future enhancements with no target release commitment yet.
3. Is is not possible to copy of delete rules through this UI, to this you need to click in the rule and perform the action in the legacy UI;
