2474603 - "Error writing to document; document data was removed before saving" occurs when scheduling Analysis workbook

The scheduling of Analysis workbook is failing.

In Instance Manager, the error is "An error occurred; could not precalulcate instance <XXX> : Error writing to document; document data was removed before saving" as shown below:

The entries below can be found in the traces:

>> If option 'Remove Data Before Saving' is set, the workbook is not precalculated!
>> Finished. Return code: 45

Try to schedule an Analysis workbook in BI Launchpad.

Step 1

Open the workbook in Analysis for Office client version and make sure that the option "Remove Data Before Saving" is unchecked like shown below, then save the workbook again to BI platform:

Open the workbook in Analysis for Office, check if the variant that was saved before exist and check if it is accepted when pressing the OK button, when use the scheduling option.
If it is not accepted, please correct prompts and re-save the variant.

Step 3

It can also happen that the prompts are set on BO and should be checked if it is correct there before scheduling the workbook from the BO platform. Check the scheduling settings for the "Prompts" option. Check which variant is set or if the filled prompts are correct before scheduling the workbook.
