Symptom

  • R Plotly package unstable in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 
  • Below error could be found in google HAR trace log :
    Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) 
    Failed to export Csv Promise  - R service is currently unavailable. RProcessor.js

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2020.2.6 (QRC Q1.2020)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to SAC.
  2. Create -> Story -> Report -> Blank.
  3. Insert -> + -> R Visualization.
  4. Script -> Add Script. Add script with plotly package used. No model required.
  5. Click Execute. Observe in the story, no result is displayed. Checked in Chrome HAR file KBA 2280022
