SAP Business ByDesign

- Choose the Project
- Choose the View Plan Values button

- Choose project task and navigate to the Messages tab here you can see error message
As per help document for Materials sourced from external supplier we have below 5 strategies
1.Price from latest purchase order with reference to the project
If a purchase order with reference to the project exists, the system uses the price from that purchase order. If there is more than one purchase order for the same material, the system uses the price from the latest purchase order.
Price from latest purchase order without reference to the project
2.If no purchase order with reference to the project exists, the system uses the price from a purchase order that does not reference the project. If there is more than one purchase order for the same material, the system uses the price from the latest purchase order.
3.Price from fixed source of supply
4.Price from contract
5.Price from price list
If none are maintained you will get this error.
Maintain one of the above strategies
also May be you have maintained cost in the material master data but currently we do not allow the cost to be picked from there if Material is sourced from external supplier as its used for materials taken from stock. so since it was never there in By Design its a new requirement for us so please post new requirements on Customer Influence Forum at https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/886
