Symptom

Instance Refresh Tool Log shows Failed with an error code: FAILED_TO_START_CLEAR_CACHE_JOB Error

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Instance Refresh Tool. 
  2. Select the refresh completion entry under View Status Workflow. 
  3. Click on the three-dotted icon under Actions Tab.
  4. Select Download Log.
  5. Error Message Code is shown: FAILED_TO_START_CLEAR_CACHE_JOB.

Resolution

Retry of refresh will fix the issue.
