2898029 - New Pay Component not displaying in Pay component drop down list

Symptom

After creating a New Pay Componen, 1) properly setting the "Target" and "Display on Self Service" to "Yes", 2) also the RBP view/edit permission has been granted from "Employee Data", still the new pay component not displaying in Pay Component drop down list in EP.

Reproducing the Issue

Add a new Pay Component to the system via Admin Center and attempt to use it when editing an employee's Compensation record by adding the newly added Pay Component through the Take Action button or Insert New Record. When doing so the adminstrator should find the new Pay Component is not shown in the Pay Component drop down list.

Resolution

Go to Admin Center >> Manage Data >> Select the Country/Region >> assign the new created Pay Component to the corresponding Country/Region.
