Symptom

You would like to understand why a workflow rule notification is not displayed for a user, although the workflow conditions are met.

Cause

A possible reason why the workflow rule notification was not displayed to the user, is the time set in the Expiry Date field in the Workflow Rule configuration was not enough for the user to check the notifications.

Resolution

After the time set in the Expiry Date field in the Workflow Rule configuration is reached, the workflow rule notification task is automatically canceled if not checked by the user.

The time set in the Expiry Date field depends on the specific business need, however, a recommendation is to keep it in a good time range, ensuring all users can check their notifications accordingly.
