2888069 - multiattachmentselection field in application is not editable irrespective of the write permissions

Symptom

multiattachmentselection field is not editable in the application even though the write permissions are provided for the desired user

Environment

Successfactors Recruiting

Reproducing the Issue

Define a multiattachmentselection field defined in your application template, provide the write permissions to the user, it will still remain uneditable in the following scenarios

Cause

As per our Product Management team, Users will not be able to add/edit any values to multiattachmentselection field if any of the condition is true :

  1. If Job Req is closed or
  2. If candidate is rejected or
  3. If candidate is in a status which has the category as 'Hired' (job application status)

Resolution

For the multiattachmentselection to be editable, make sure the permissions are in place and :

1) The job requisition should not be closed

2) Candidate should not be rejected/disqualified

3) Candidate should not be in the status which has the category as 'Hired' in the talent pipeline

(You can check this under Admin Center -> Edit Applicant status configuration -> Open the status set and you can see there is a column called 'Category' and it should not be Hired for this field to be editable)
