2885705 - Pinned tiles do not show data in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

The following behavior occurs in SAC:

  • Stories that are pinned to Home screen are not showing any data.
  • Only a gray tile shows up with an exclamation mark in the left upper corner of the tile.
  • When navigating to the story and then clicking Home again the pin works as expected and displays the data correctly.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.2.2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open SAC.
  2. Notice that the tiles pinned to the Home screen contain no data.
  3. Notice the blank gray screen on the tiles.
  4. Open respective story.
  5. Choose Home on the top bar.
  6. Notice that the tiles display data correctly.

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by development.
