2877304 - Purchase Order Interactive Forms not Working

Symptom

You have sent purchase order via interactive forms however the interactive form is not active for modifications.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center
  2. Go to the Purchase Orders view
  3. Select the relevant Purchase Order
  4. Select Edit and navigate to Output History tab
  5. Select the link Purchase Order (Interactive)
  6. The fields are not editable to accept or reject the order

Cause

For receiving PO Acknowledgments by Interactive Form, the output channel should be E-Mail. However you have sent the purchase order via Printer. Hence the fields were not editable. At Output Details tab, choose Purchase Order (Interactive) in Template Name and E-Mail in Send By, and fill in the e-mail addresses as required under E-mail Settings. When you order a purchase order and the status of the purchase order is Sent, the supplier receives an e-mail with the attachment Purchase Order Interactive.

Resolution

  1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center
  2. Go to the Purchase Orders view
  3. Select the relevant Purchase Order
  4. Select Edit and select you can also link
  5. Edit Output Settings for Create/Change PO
  6. Select the template - Purchase Order (Interactive) / Changed Purchase Order (Interactive)
  7. Select the Send by channel as E-Mail
  8. Enter the E-Mail address

A supplier receives a purchase order as an interactive form and returns the corresponding PO acknowledgment electronically. This way fields are editable mode and you accept or reject the deviations.
