2858286 - How to update a pushed/exported dataset in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

  • After pushing records from extermal pipeline to a SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Dataset the dataset can not be refreshed.
  • When re-loading the dataset in SAC, the new records are appearing correctly.
  • However, there is no schedule option to import the recently updated dataset into the previously created model.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Created a connection which pushes records to SAC (OAuth client connection for example) presented in a table called "Dataset".
    • This flow has pushed data into a "dataset", which has been saved in public SAC folder.
  2. Created model based on that dataset in SAC.
  3. Created Story based on the model.
  4. Try to visualize the newly loaded/pushed data in SAC.

Cause

  • Scheduling/refreshing dataset is not yet available in SAP Analytics Cloud.
