Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
Resolution
Job processing data purge:
Historical job processing data in Job Scheduler will be purged periodically once it reaches the defined retention period.
Job processing data includes job request details, job execution details, and job responses.
Job Purge Policy:
System will have purge jobs every month to catch those jobs that satisfied the purge criteria, and do related purge work.
1. All types of submitted / unsubmitted jobs (Occurrence is Recurring / Dependent of / Once .etc) is included in Job Purge Policy.
2. Regarding purge criteria, most of them are dependencies with other modules or other jobs, so please follow below general principles:
- For a one-time job, if the start date is 6 months ago, the job is purged.
- For a recurring job, if the end date is 6 months ago, the job is purged.
- For an FTP job of deleted status, if the effective date is 1 month ago, the job is purged.
When a job request is purged, it will not be visible anymore on Scheduled Job Manager and Provisioning > Monitor Jobs.
Per the Job Purge Policy, it is suggested to create new jobs regularly if jobs are purged by the policy.
