2857718 - HANA Live connection times out in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

After some time working normally with stories using data from HANA Live connection there is an apparently time out issue on the HANA side and this error message is displayed on SAC:

  • "Fail to connect hana system. Check CORS setting"

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2019.15.15

Reproducing the Issue

1. Log into the customer tenant with the credentials from the secure area.

2. Go to one of the affected stories with the SAC HANA Live connection.

3. Work with the story, refresh data, etc.

4. After approximately 12 hours the mentioned error message is displayed.

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by Development.
