2846674 - Numeric values that are stored on a text field type is not being sorted correctly - Recruiting Management

Symptom

System does not sort numeric values that are stored in a text field type properly in Candidate Summary Workbench.

Environment

 SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

1. Admin Center > Recruiting > Job Requisition

2. Select any Job Requisition with Candidates > Access Candidate

3. Sort a column with numeric values.

Cause

There could be several root cause on why numeric values is not sorted correctly when accessing Candidate Summary Workbench but this KBA caters only numeric values that are  stored on a text field.

Sorting numeric values that are stored on a "text" field type will sort the data based on the individual digits of the value instead of the numeric value.

Resolution
