2844093 - Report Canvas not appearing when proxying

Symptom

When giving permissions only to Report/Dashboards on Proxy Management the users are not able to see Report Canvas reports when proxying as users that have access to canvas reports.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • Report Canvas

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Proxy Management on admin center
  2. Grant proxy permissions specifically to Report/Dashboards for user A have proxy permissions on user B
  3. When accessing the instance as user A and then proxying as user B the Report Canvas reports will not appear even though the user B has access when logging into the instance directly.

Resolution

This behavior is currently expected. The Report/Dashboards section on Proxy Management are just for Report Table reports and Dashboards. To give permissions to the report canvas it is required to give permissions to all modules.
