Question : What are the mentioned "published learning events"?
Answer : In the SuccessFactors Suite Intelligent Services Center, customers configure multiple integration endpoints. Integration facilitates option to both import and export data from the SuccessFactors Suite.
In the Intelligent Services Center, customers have an option to configure learning module as well.
Customers have the option to subscribe to events that happen in the system. One of the events that is available is Completion of Learning.
This event is raised after a user completes a learning item or a program. The data that is posted from the Learning system is called as the "published learning events"

Question : Does this change impact Learning History imported through Import Data tool?
Answer : No, this change only impacts learning history imported through Learning History connector.

Change :
The learning completion event publishing feature was built for notifying consumers about learning completions that have taken place within learning.
Before this update, completions that were fed into learning via the Learning history connector (which is primarily designed for migration activities) were also inadvertently included.
With this update, learning history completions are no longer part of the published learning events because consumers can obtain this data directly from the external sources that this data is coming from.

Before : Imported learning history connector completions were published via the learning completion event publishing feature
After : Imported learning history connector completions are not published via the learning completion event publishing feature
