2813729 - Add Button Missing in Marketing Permissions


Add button is not available or disappears in Marketing Permissions facet for Individual Customers.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Customers workcenter.
  2. Go to Individual Customers view.
  3. Open Individual Customer 123(where 123 is Individual Customer ID).
  4. Navigate to Marketing Permissions facet.

While the facet is loading the Add button can be seen but once it is loaded the Add button disappears.


The moment all the available marketing permissions (from Business Configuration) are added in the Individual Customer 123, the Add button is hidden. Exposing the Add button here does not make sense as clicking on Add wouldn't do anything.


This is the expected system behavior.If the User goes to the Business Configuration fine tune activity 'Marketing permissions' and maintains a new custom marketing permission channel or a new Communication category, the Add button becomes active in the Marketing permissions facet again.

If you click on Add, the new custom marketing permission channel gets added and the Add button would again be hidden until another new marketing permission channel or a new Communication category is added.
