2810501 - Saving Job Requisition template from Manage Templates deletes candidate-sms-permission - Recruiting Management

Symptom

You defined candidate-sms-permission in a Job Requisition template. When you use Manage Templates to edit and publish the Job Requisition template, it removes the entire candidate-sms-permission section.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) - All versions

Resolution

This is a defect and Engineering team is working on the fix. There are two parts here:

1. Manage Templates should have the provision to add "candidate-sms-permission" field.
2. Whatever is added from provisioning shouldn't be deleted by Manage templates.

For the first part, we will have an enhancement to support this from Manage Templates.

For the second part, the Engineering team is working on it.

The fix version is TBD. We will keep posting the latest information in this KBA.

As a workaround for now, the "candidate-sms-permission" section has to be added from provisioning.
