2807601 - Sales Order Approval Notifications are not Sent for the Approver.

You've submitted a Sales Order, but the approver did not receive an approval notification.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to Sales Orders view.
3. Open the sales order XYZ (XYZ represents the opportunity ID).
4. Press Actions -> Submit for Approval.
5. There is no notification for the approver.

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to the Task Distribution view.
3. Go to the Business Task Management subview.
4. Show Unassigned Items.
5. You see that the approval task created for the sales order XYZ is unassigned.
6. Select the unassigned task for the sales order.
7. Open the application log XXX in the General tab (XXX represents the ID of the log file).
8. You find the below messages
• Summary: 1 users failed to pass the authorisation check
• Employees without sufficient access rights for the item:
• Employee: ABC (ABC represents the ID of the employee)
• Info: Work Center Views granting access:
• View: Sales
• "No employee has sufficient access rights".

1. Go to the Application and user Management work center.
2. Go to the Business Users view.
3. Show All Business Users and find ABC.
4. Select the business user ABC.
5. Choose Edit button and select Access Rights.
6. Go to the Work Center and View Assignment tab.
7. User already assigned to CRM_WOC_SALESORDERS work center and the CRM_SALESORDERS view.

The approver does not have the necessary Read and Write accesses to approve the sales order XYZ created with the sales unit DEF (DEF represents the ID of the Sales Unit).

You need to provide Read and Write Access to the approver for the respective sales under Work Center View ID MMA_SALES.

1. Go to the Application and user Management work center.
2. Go to the Business Users view.
3. Show All Business Users and find ABC.
4. Select the business user ABC.
5. Choose Edit button and select Access Rights.
6. Navigate to Access Restrictions tab.
7. Search for MMA_SALES.
8. Under Detailed Restrictions select the respective Access Group ID.
9. Maintain Read and Write Access to the user.
10. Click on Save.
