Symptom

User and Permission Sync report failure due to missing report permissions

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 - All Versions

Cause

Missing Report Permissions:

  • Employee Profile
  • RBP Permission Roles Report
  • RBP Permission to User Report
  • RBP User to Group Report
  • RBP User to Role Report

Resolution

For Live Customer(s), Implementation Partner(s), and Consultant(s)

To resolve the issue, grant the missing report permissions mentioned above. Kindly follow the instruction below.

  • Step 1: Log in to SAP SuccessFactors HCM and navigate to Admin Center
  • Step 2: Under Tools, find and select Manage Permission Roles
  • Step 3: Click the affected permission role where the Report ID Owner belongs to and access Permission Role Detail
  • Step 4: In Permission Settings section, under User Permissions tab grant below report definition type:

    • Employee Profile
    • RBP Permission Roles Report
    • RBP Permission to User Report
    • RBP User to Group Report
    • RBP User to Role Report
  •  
  • Step 5: Click done and Save Changes
  • Step 6: Confirm if the report is now showing under Report Center or Ad-hoc Reports
