2796662 - Duplicate E-verify Activities are Created at the Same Time for Same Employee - Onboarding 1.0 [E-Verify]

Symptom

In audit trail of Onboarding activity of candidate, there are 2 rows with PROCESS_END and PROCESS_DERIVE code

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0 - All Versions

Cause

When clicking Update Status in DocuSign Outside Signing Panel, it triggers E-Verify Activity at the same time when activity was sent to All Documents Submitted; which in result, creating 2 E-Verify Activity for a candidate.

Resolution

For Live Customer(s),Implementation Partner(s), and Consultant(s)

In the scenario where duplicate E-Verify activity is created, please delete the E-Verify activity without a Case Number. We also identify below workaround.

 

Workaround

If the activity has a Case Number generated, it means that application sent out the candidate record to E-Verify System of US Government; kindly resolve the duplicate case with another case created with 30 days.

 

Tentative Future Release

Our development team is already working on with a code-fix and there is no set timeframe when this will be patched to the system. If this behavior happened again, please follow the workaround mentioned above.
