Symptom

You would like to understand the size limitation for e-mails received and sent via a service ticket.

Environment

 SAP Cloud for Customer

Resolution

When working with Inbound & Outbound e-mails in a service ticket, the current size limitation for an e-mail is 20MB of data.

This data includes:

  • E-mail Body;
  • Attachments;
  • Fonts & Design;
  • Text;
  • Any additional aspect that will compose the e-mails itself;

E-mails which have more than 20MB may experience performance issues and experience issues within the system, causing it to fail and be displayed in the Web Service Message Monitoring tool as erroneous.
