View Job Details Error Messages for failed purge requests are not helpful for Administrators to identify the root cause of the failure.

Cause

Starting in the 1H 2019 release, "View Job Details" error messages are improved for help administrators to identify the root cause of any failed purge requests.

Resolution

Below is the new messaging for the error handling for "View Job Details".

"Data purge process failed for purge object type = [object type]. Please check for any data inconsistency in your system or contact customer support."

Where "Object Type" points to purge object type causing the issue. This will help with pinpointing which module area or feature the issue is observed. See list of Applications and Object Types
