2779631 - Not able to access the SAP Jam app

Symptom

When you try to Activate the mobile app for your Jam instance, the app do not activate and stay on a loading page without activating the user user.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Try to activate the Jam mobile app through any method;
  2. After the activation steps be completed, the app will be stuck on a loading page without logging into the app.

Cause

Phone timezone and it's time is not matching, so Jam server do not allow user to connect due to different time from data-center bigger than allowed.

Resolution

Please, check if the time and the timezone on your phone are correct and matching each other.

Most likely your phone is set up with a determined timezone and your phone time is with the time of another timezone.

Probable cause is a change on your time due to Daylight savings time change, where just the time was adjusted and the timezone was kept on the older value.

Once the time and timezone match, the app will be able to be activated with no issue.
