2779043 - Appointment Created With Outlook Sync Has Blank Organizer

Symptom

You're creating an appointment in Outlook and synchronizing with client-side integration to SAP Cloud For Customer, but there it is being created with the Organizer field empty.

Environment

SAP Cloud For Customer

Cause

E-mail address is not uniquely assigned to the Organizer user.

Resolution

To avoid this issue you must configure a given e-mail address to a unique user. You can never have the same e-mail address configured for multiple users.

To change an user e-mail address in C4C you can follow the steps below:

  1. Log in the C4C system.
  2. Go to Administrator Work Center.
  3. Go to Employees.
  4. Look for the Employee you wish to change the e-mail address.
  5. Select the employee.
  6. Click on the Edit button.
  7. Go to E-mail field and change it to the new value.
  8. Click on Save and Close.
