When taking content with a mobile device the links embeeded in the content behave differently in the device compared to PC/Mac Browser. For example when selecitng phone numbers in PC browser Skype opens up , where on a mobile device with the skype app, it prompts for a call. Another example is not being directed to the a website and being prompted to open the website's app on the mobile device.
SAP SuccessFactors Learning Managment System
Any links that are presented to the user through content and selected, the behavior of how that link works once selected is handled by the OS of the device. The SuccessFactors product has no control over how a mobile device uses links that do not direct back to successfactors. In the case that it does, it will normally prompt for the app (if installed) as that is how our webbased product is setup. These behaviors are controled by the iOS and Android and is the reason you see different end results compared to PC.
Working as Intended, OS vendor will need to make changes.
