2763192 - Users cannot access a copy of their own created model in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)


When users access a copy of their own created model following error messages appear:

  • "The resource does not exist or you do no have permission to read it"
  • "Model could not be loaded"

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new role without "Read" rights to Analytic and Planning Models.
  2. Assign this role to user 
  3. Login with this user
  4. Create a model
  5. Copy the model
  6. Try to open copied model
  7. Notice the errors  


The issue is caused by a defect in the product.


  • The issue is fixed in a future** version of SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Please refer to maintenance document.
