2758873 - Production Order Planned Quantity in Data Source Differs From Planned Quantity

Symptom

The Data Source SCMPTV01 (Production Task) displays the Production Order Planned Quantity different from the Planned Quantity in Production Order XXX.

XXX = Production Order ID.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
  2. Select Design Data Sources view.
  3. Find Data Source SCMPTV01.
  4. Select the Data Source SCMPTV01.
  5. Click Preview.
  6. Fulfill the Production Order ID XXX.
  7. Select Apply.

Notice that the Production Order Planned Quantity is 3 ea, as an example.

ea = each

  1. Go to Production Control work center.
  2. Select Production Orders view.
  3. Search for the Production Order XXX.
  4. Open the Production Order XXX.

The Planned Quantity is 1 ea, as an example.

Cause

In this example, you have 2 Input Products for Production Order XXX. The data source SCMPTV01 displays Input Product details in each line, hence each line has 1. To check this, you can follow the steps:

  1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
  2. Select Design Data Sources view.
  3. Find Data Source SCMPTV01.
  4. Select the Data Source SCMPTV01.
  5. Click Preview.
  6. Fulfill the Production Order ID XXX.
  7. Select Apply.
  8. Click View.
  9. Select Add Row Fields
  10. Check the box Input Product
  11. Click Ok.

There are 3 lines, as an example, with counter 1. Hence the Production Order Planned Quantity is 3 ea.

Resolution

As the system displays Input Product details in each line, it is working as expected.
