2757104 - Managing very large picklists

• When updating picklist the following issue appears: "This picklist is too large to be displayed in this UI".
• Picklist size for some of the common picklists exceeded 10000.
• When selecting "View Picklist" the system displays the error message "Either the requested content does not exist or you do not have the necessary permissions" in Chrome, but it works when using IE.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

User attempts to manage specific picklists but face one of the following error messages: "This picklist is too large to be displayed in this UI" or "Picklist size for some of the common picklists exceeded 10000"

In these cases, picklists must be reviewed offline. To do this use the Administration tools to export the picklist. Then review the details of the picklist in an external tool like Microsoft Excel.

To download Picklist Template please follow the below steps:

1. Search Import and Export Data under the action search
2. Under "Select the action to perform", select the option "Download Template"
3. On Select Generic Object, select Picklist
4. Click on Download

To download all the Picklists please follow the below steps:

1. Search Import and Export Data under the action search
2. Under "Select the action to perform", select the option "Export Data"
3. On Select Generic Object, select Picklist
4. Click on Export
5. Go to Monitor Jobs and download the file

 After the changes inside the Picklist file, customer needs to Import the Picklist file, for this please folow the below steps:

1. Search Import and Export Data under the action search
2. Under "Select the action to perform", select the option "Import Data"
3. On this section, customer can choose to download a CSV file or the ZIP file and import them
4. Go to Monitor Jobs and download the status file to see if import is successful

Also, customers might receive the error message "Either the requested content does not exist or you do not have the necessary permissions" when using Chrome to manage some picklists. In this case, make sure to follow the below instructions:

1. Update your browser to latest version
2. Clear the browser cache and cookies
3. Try using in a different computer since Chrome in might have some extension enabled leading to this issue.
