2756020 - Unable to Reply With Outlook In A Ticket Using Chrome

Symptom

You are trying reply to a ticket using the Reply With Outlook functionality.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer - Chrome

Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisite: You trying to reply while using the Chrome browser.

  1. Go to the Service work center.
  2. Go to the Tickets view.
  3. Search and open ticket ID XXX (XXX represents the ticket ID).
  4. Go to the Interactions facet.
  5. Select Use Outlook and click on Reply.
  6. Nothing happens.

Cause

This is currently the expected system behaviour.

There is a limit on the number of characters which can be passed to Outlook.

Resolution

Every browser has a maximum limit of the URL. Chrome and Internet Explorer both have different limits.

Internet Explorer supports higher limit than Chrome.

You can use Internet Explorer as an alternative.
