2750415 - Authorization Missing For Payment Method Bill of Exchange Receivable

You execute a payment with the payment method:

"Bill of Exchange Receivable Without Acceptance" or "Bill of Exchange Receivable with Acceptance".

Depending on the payment method you maintained, you receive the error message:

Authorization missing for payment method Bill of Exchange Receivable Without Acceptance.

or

Authorization missing for payment method Bill of Exchange Receivable With Acceptance.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Receivables work center.
2. Go to the Customers view.
3. Select the Customer Accounts sub view.
4. Show All Customers and search for the Account ID: XXX (XXX stands for the ID of the Customer Account).
5. Select View.
6. Search for the invoice with the External Reference: XYZ (XYZ stands for the reference ID).
7. Select Pay Manually By > Other Payment Methods.
8. Maintain the Payment Method as: Bill of Exchange Receivable with or Without Acceptance.

Error messages:
Payment details not determined.
Authorization missing for payment method Bill of Exchange Receivable Without Acceptance.

Or

Authorization missing for payment method Bill of Exchange Receivable With Acceptance.

You have not maintained the Bill of Exchange Receivable Bank Account.

• You need to maintain the Bill of Exchange Receivable Bank Account for this account using Bill of Exchange Receivable as payment method.
• In case, you have already created payments and saved them with the error message, you  need to go into edit mode for such payments and trigger a redetermination of the payment details.
  Then, you can continue processing these payments.

Note: If you are getting this error message despite the "Bill of Exchange Receivable Bank Account" maintained, please open an incident.
