2740657 - Default the Location of Service Provision in Service Order.

You would like you to default the Location of Service Provision in a Service Order from "On-Site" to "Supplier Service Center".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Service Order work center.
2. Go to Service Order Processing view.
3. Click on New -> Service Order.

The Location of Service Provision is taken by default to On-Site.

The system defaults the location of service provision based on the Location and Provider of Service settings in business configuration.

1. Go to Business configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select First Implementation.
4. Click on Edit Project Scope.
5. Navigate to the Questions step.
6. Select the path: Service -> Service and Repair -> Location and Provider of Service.

The following questions are there in the system:

1. Do you carry out service and repairs on-site at the customer, or wherever the product is located?
2. Do you carry out service and repairs at your own service center?
3. Are service and repairs on your products carried out at a supplier's service center?

The system defaults the location of service provision based on the Location and Provider of Service settings in business configuration.

If you work with all three (On-Site, Own Service Center and Supplier Service Center) locations, the system defaults On Site.
If you work with service center whether your own or that of a supplier, At Own Service Center is taken as default in the service order.
If you work with one location only, that location is defaulted in the service order.
