2729401 - Time Item Product is missing in Create Time Item pop up

Symptom

Time Item Product is missing in Create Time Item pop up.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer / Service

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Service work center.
  2. Select the Work Tickets view.
  3. Open a random work ticket.
  4. Select the Time Entries facet.
  5. Click the More button.
  6. Select the Create Time Item option.

In the pop-up you can see that the Time Item Product field is missing.

Cause

The rule based product determination for a Ticket from Time Recording is enabled in the system.

Resolution

In order to make the Time Item Product field visible again you need to disable the rule based product determination for a Ticket from Time Recording.

You need to use the following steps:

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
  2. Select the Implementation Projects view.
  3. Select and open the relevant implementation project.
  4. Click the Next button to get to Step 4 Questions.
  5. Expand the General Business Data > Employees and Service Agents scoping elements.
  6. Select the Employees element.
  7. Remove the flag for the “Do you want to enable rule based product determination for a Ticket from Time Recording?” question.
  8. Save the changes.
