When entering a comment on a candidate application, customers are now unable to use the “ENTER” key to move the cursor to the next line when typing, therefore, the format of comments become one long sentence. Recruiters cannot start a new paragraph since there is no way to enter to a next line in the comments section at the top right of the application .
All data centers, instances with SF release b1811.
Reproducing the Issue
- Log-in to instance.
- Go to Recruiting ->Job Req
- View an existing candidate application by clikcing on any active candidates .
- Enter a comment in the "comments section" at the top right of the application and attempt to create a new paragraph.
- Pressing the ENTER/RETURN key does not work.
This is a regression issue that has been identified post the "SF Release b1811"
and engineering team is working on a code-fix for resolution.
The fix for this issue is under investigation and will be updated shortly , till that we have a workaround for this issue .
Workaround - Type the multi-line comment into a separate text editor (i.e. Word), then copy-paste it into the comments area at the top right corner of the candidate application
