Symptom

  • Error message "Bad Request" appears when trying to log on to SAP Analytics Cloud via Apache HTTP Server

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2018.20.2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Setup one Apache HTTP Server as a Reverse Proxy for your SAC tenant per http://go.sap.com/documents/2016/06/7812e5c8-777c-0010-82c7-eda71af511fa.html.
  2. Start Apache HTTP Server, launch a web browser and then go to "https://<Fully_Qualified_Domain_Name_Reverse_Proxy>/".
    => You should be automatically redirected to the user logon page.
  3. Enter user credentials.
    => Error message "Bad Request" appears.
    => The url is changed to "https://<SAC Tenant FQDN>/sso/login/callback?code=<...>".
