Symptom
- Column headers missing when export to XLS from Export Doc Contents in Detail Document Search.
- Column headers are missing in Detail Document Search when exporting to Microsoft Excel.
Environment
Detail Document Search
Reproducing the Issue
- Home > Reporting > Switch To Classic View > Classic Reporting > Detail Document Search
- Select Detail Search Radio Button
- Document Name > Other > Select the PM Form Template
- Status: All (Except Draft and Deleted)
- Export File Format: Microsoft Excel
- Click on "Export Doc Contents"
- Now go to Schedule Reports > Download the Output file > Open the "DocDetail.xls" file
- Column Headers are not present in the output file.
Resolution
Workaround 1:
While Running the Detail Document Search > Export Option > Document Content Fields > Uncheck below 2 checkbox > and click on "Export Doc Contents" > Exported output file will have Column Headers.

Workaround 2:
Select similar parameters for DDS export and select Export option as SuccessFactors v4e > Select Export Doc Content.
