2719177 - Add to Calendar feature not showing in the Enrollment Notication

Symptom

  • Users are not able to add their appointments to Google Calendar due to missing Add to Calendar button in the email notification coming from LMS.

Environment

  • Learning Management System

Cause

  • This is due to missing .ICS attachment in the notification. This is what triggers the Add to Calendar button to show.

Resolution

  • Make sure to use the .ICS file instead of VCAL. Please refer to SAP Note below for this configuration.
