Resolution

  1. The syntax used for "National ID format"  should be "N" which represents a number.
  2. The reg-ex should be [\s\d]{1} which matches a single character that is either a whitespace or a digit.

    Example:
    National ID Format: NN.N-NN
    Condition: where the 3rd N should either be a whitespace or a digit
    Reg-Ex: [\d]{2}.[\s\d]{1}-[\d]{2}
