2716701 - How to add attachment when self-recording an external event

Symptom

Is it possible to attach a document when the user performs "Add to Learning History" from "Links" tile in the Learning user side?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Resolution

To add an attachment when self-recording a learning event, follow these instructions:

  1. In the Learning home page, go to the "Links" tile >
  2. Click "Add to Learning History" >
  3. Choose your type of Learning activity, "Item based event" or "External Event" >
  4. Fill in the details of the form and click "Continue" >
  5. Review the details of the form and click "Add to Learning History" >
  6. On the last page the user can click "File Attachments" and add a document (e.g.: certificate).
