You have set a filter on the Homepage but when a user clicks the link, the system navigates to a different query in the system.
Example: The Homepage filter Tickets: My Tickets navigates to the Tickets view, but shows the default query All Tickets.

Reproducing the Issue
The below is an example, using Tickets: My Tickets. The issue can occur for other Homepage Filters/ Queries, too.
Prerequisite: a Homepage filter, in our scenario Tickets: My Tickets is enabled for your user.
Open the Homepage.
- Click on the Tickets: My Tickets tile.
Result: the system navigates to the default filter set for the Ticket view.
You do not have the My Tickets query active (visible) in your system. [If your system allows for it, you might have disabled the query via Personalization].
Enable the visibility of the My Tickets query in the Master Layout and for every user/ business role who should access the home page tile/ filter by making it visible in the TI.
For our example:
As Administrator login to the system.
Go to the Service work centre.
Go to the Tickets view.
Click Adapt > Edit Master Layout.
- Click Advanced search.
- Click the Organize Queries button.
- Set the check for the My Tickets query to visible.
- Save and leave Adaptation Mode.
- The user needs to refresh the system (reload).
