Customer has configured the Russia Data Residency Solution following the SAP User Guide (Attached) and the Data Residency Realms is unavailable in Advanced Reporting
All SuccessFactors Environment
Reproducing the Issue
- Log into SuccessFactors
- Navigate to Reporting
- Create new Report - Canvas
- Add Component: Table
- List Report
- Edit Query
- Advanced Reporting
- Search for "Data Residency". Object "PersonDataResidencyLogRecord" not available.
The object PersonDataResidencyLogRecord which is an MDF 2.0 Object requires View-Based Metadata to be enabled in order for it to be available in Reporting.
Please raise a ticket with support asking for View-Based Metadata to be enabled on your instance.
N.B. We cannot enable VBM if your instance has OLAP enabled (WFA on HANA / Analytics in EC Cube) as OLAP currently does not support VBM. This will be fixed in the 1811 release (December 1st), so I would suggest opening a new case on the 1st of December requesting the enablement of VBM so that you can report on Data Residency in Advanced Reporting.
For more information on View-Based Metadata:
-> KBA 2573340 View Based Metadata (VBM) 1711 Release Notes
-> KBA 2569587 ODS Advanced Reporting (Realms) - Purge Advanced Reporting Metadata Cache - What is it?
Once VBM is enabled, the table will be available in Advanced Reporting:
Data Residency, Russia Data Residency Solution, PersonDataResidencyLogRecord, Realms, View-Based Metadata, VBM, ODS, Advanced Reporting, russian privacy data law, russian data law, RPDL, PII, russian dc, data residency, Russian PII Solution, russian data privacy, Russian Data Center , KBA , LOD-SF-ANA-ODS , Advanced Reporting , LOD-SF-ANA , Analytics & Reporting (Ad Hoc, ORD) , LOD-SF-EC-REP , Reporting Data , Problem
