2705787 - Unable to Find the Field 'Customer' While Importing Registered Product Via Data Workbench

Symptom

You have the requirement to import Registered Products via Data Workbench, however while checking the template you do not find the Customer ID field.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Data Workbench work center.
  2. Then go to the Import Tab.
  3. Then search for Registered Product object.
  4. Click on the Download button and please check the CSV file.
  5. There is no Customer field in the template.

Cause

There is a separate entity “Party” in the Registered Product object. This can be used to create/update/export all parties.

Resolution

To create new Registered Products, you have to fill the customer ID (Role Code = 60) in this and then import the Complete Business Object.

This is the expected system behavior.
