Symptom

  • What is the behavior for Delayed Emails sent out to Disqualified Candidates?
  • What is the system behavior for triggered Disqualification Notification email when the candidate is moved from one disqualification status to another disqualification status?

To illustrate these questions better, let's use the following scenario as an example:

'Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates' is set as 72 hours in Manage Recruiting Settings.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

Resolution

When a candidate is moved to another status (qualified or another disqualified status) from disqualified status within 72 hours through one of the actions below, each has a different result. See the outcome for each action.

Scenario 1: Manually move the aplication to a disqualification status.

Result: Candidate will receive the email in 72 hours due to email delay job.

Scenario 2: Manually move the application to a disqualification status. Within 72 hours, move the application back to a qualified status.

Result: Disqualification Notification mail won't be sent.

Scenario 3: Manually move the application to disqualification status A Within 72 hours. Within 72 hours, move the application to disqualification status B

Result: Candidate will receive the email with disqualification status B, but not disqualification status A. Candidate will receive the mail triggered with the latest status.
