2704778 - Users cannot be deleted in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)


  • The following error message appears when trying to move the content of an existing user in order to delete it:
    "The following content could not be transferred: REPORT:<id>:INITIAL_REPORT<id>"
  • The following Error appears in the developer tool console in the same time:

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon to SAP Analytics Cloud.
  2. Go to Security >>  Users.
  3. Select a user and click the delete icon.
  4. In the Delete User pop-up select "Transfer all content to another user".
  5. Enter the user name.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Notice the error.
