2699299 - Marketing Attributes Conditions Are Not taken into account in Your Custom Query

Custom Queries including Marketing Conditions do not return the expected results. Marketing Attributes are overlooked.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Customers workcenter.
  2. Go to the Accounts workcenter.
  3. Enter the Advanced search.
  4. Select the value you want to filter in various fields.
  5. Click Maintain Conditions under Marketing Attributes.
  6. Add the conditions you wish to filter.
  7. Save the query.
  8. Click Go.

Results: The query does not return the expected results. The search was not filtered.

The custom query being saved with Marketing Attributes is based on already existing custom default set which does not have this property tag. This means that one ( or more ) of the chosen various fields you use to refine the search is itself, a custom field.

We delivered the ability to save Marketing Attributes search Conditions for a custom query with the 1802 release. This is achieved technically with a new tag for default sets. The standard default sets already got this property tag but the custom queries created before 1802 release do not have this tag.

And thus, when you save a new custom query built on top of the KUT field, the new custom query does not get the new property tag either.

If you provide some Marketing Conditions on Standard Default Sets only like from "All Accounts" and then save the query, the Marketing Attribute conditions will be included.

We suggest to create a new custom query with the needed selection parameters, and then proceed to create another custom query on top with the marketing conditions and then save the same.

Or you can take club selection parameters of " Horeca CH" and marketing conditions in one and make a new custom set on top of "All Accounts".
