2690719 - Time zone cannot be changed in received emails in SAP Analytics Cloud

Symptom

  • Once a user creates a task, the assignee will receive an e-mail notification for the assigned task in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • In the e-mail, the timezone of the task is in UTC format. The timezone cannot be changed in the e-mail notification even though the time zone for the task creator and the task assignee was changed in their user preferences.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. A user creates a task and assigns it to an assignee.
  2. The assignee received an email and the timezone is in UTC format.
  3. Change the timezone for task assignee but it does not work.

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by Development.
