Symptom

 LMS Background not appearing

Environment

SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) - All Supported Versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login via bizx.
  2. Go to Learning admin -
  3. System Configuration - Configuration - Images - Current Background Image - browse and select new image - save.
  4. Proxy as a user and LMS Background has not been changed.

Cause

In an integrated system the background will only change when using the settings in theme manager to add a background.

Resolution

When logged in via bizx in an integrated system the background for LMS can only be changed via Theme Manager.

  1. Go to admin center;
  2. Company settings;
  3. Theme Manager;
  4. Choose your theme and click on it;
  5. Click on Fine tune;
  6. Click Backgrounds;
  7. Under Background you can choose to use an URL or upload a file.

If you use the settings in LMS -

  1. System Configuration
  2. Configuration
  3. Images
  4. Current Background Image
  5. Browse and select new image
  6. Save

The LMS Background uploaded will only be visible when logged in natively to LMS.
