You have downloaded the Expense and Income Statement Plan from Microsoft Excel and filled it.
Now you want to Save the Data but when you click on Save Data to, you receive the error message: Company XXX not found (XXX represents the company ID).
Reproducing the Issue
Go to the Cost and Revenue work center.
- Go to the Planning view.
- Click on New > Plan Version from Microsoft Excel.
- Select New Expense and Income Statement Plan - Multi Company and click on Download.
- Complete the file.
- Click on Save Data to.
Error message : Company XXX not found.
You can see a green triangle on the top left of each cells of the Company Column. If you select one of these cells, you will see a warning.
The XXX ID in the system is a number. However, in the file the XXX, despite it being a number, it is considered as a text. In consequence, the system consider that XXX is a number and do not find XXX as a text in the system.
Select all the Company column.
- Click on the Warning.
- Select Convert to Number.
Observation: Now you can click on Save Data to and the error does not appear anymore.
